React.js Developer Responsibilities:
- Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
- Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
- Identifying web-based user interactions.
- Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using react concepts.
- Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following react.js workflows.
- Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
- Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
- Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
- Documenting application changes and developing updates.
React.js Developer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
- Previous experience working as a react.js developer.
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
- Knowledge of Typescript would be added advantage.
- Knowledge with Web SEO is required.
- Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
- Some knowledge with Backend technologies such as Express.JS, MongoDB, APIs etc.
- Experience with CSS preprocessor SASS or Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with user interface design.
- Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
- Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Good project management skills.
The Data Protection Officer (DPO) ensures that the organization processes personal data of its staff, customers, providers, or any other individuals in compliance with the applicable data protection rules. The role of the DPO is mandated under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Key Responsibilities
1. GDPR Compliance
- Ensure the company’s compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws.
- Monitor compliance and conduct internal audits.
- Inform and advise the organization and its employees about their obligations to comply with GDPR and other data protection laws.
2. Data Protection Policies
- Develop and implement data protection policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Ensure all data protection policies are up to date and reflect current regulations and practices.
3. Training and Awareness
- Conduct training sessions to raise awareness about data protection within the organization.
- Provide guidance and advice on data protection and compliance issues.
4. Data Breach Response
- Manage and respond to data breaches, including notifying relevant authorities and affected individuals.
- Conduct post-breach investigations and assessments to mitigate future risks.
5. Data Processing Activities
- Maintain records of all data processing activities conducted by the company.
- Ensure that data processing agreements are in place with third parties.
6. Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
- Conduct and advise on PIAs and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
- Identify and mitigate potential data protection risks.
7. Communication with Authorities
- Serve as the point of contact between the company and regulatory authorities.
- Cooperate with data protection authorities during investigations or audits.
8. Data Subject Requests
- Manage and facilitate responses to data subject access requests (DSARs).
- Ensure the rights of data subjects under GDPR are respected and upheld.
Qualifications
1. Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications in data protection or privacy law are preferred.
2. Professional Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data protection, compliance, or legal roles.
- Proven experience with GDPR compliance and data protection practices.
3. Knowledge and Skills
- In-depth knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data protection laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with data processing operations and information security practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
4. Certifications
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), or other recognized privacy and data protection certifications.
5. Technical Proficiency
- Understanding of IT and data management systems.
- Proficiency in using privacy management software and tools.
